Writers are a rare breed bred from the combination of both imagination and skill honed for an entire lifespan. We are the few among many who turn the intangible into tangible, and Nicholas is without exception. Where exactly do our stories come from? They come from the same place all other ideas come from. When we step beyond the normal realm of thoughts, we ascend to another realm where the patterns of existence and reality are privy to us. Why do the stories not run out? Because ours is a journey that intertwines the very reality we shape. Nicholas' story comes from a deep, deep place within every writer's universe. To say I understand where the story comes from would be malice, an underestimation of his prowess. We all share the honey that is our story. But we do not dip from the same well. Hence each honey is different and uniquely crafted to its purpose. And so, it is with the most crafted stories. Nicholas' story is without exception an ornament and a rare sculpture of itself.
By Aibekhanya Nkosana Sebata from ZimbabweThis book is a masterpiece! It is a testimony of not just who you are but also how you became. It is a sermon and a prayer. It is a testament to what you always post on your WhatsApp status, that indeed "God is the greatest". It is a witness to your resilience and the work you put towards achieving your dreams. It is a promise that you will always hold onto hope. It is a portrait of love and the beauty it adds to all our lives. It is an admission that even when love hurts, it is completely worthwhile to have experienced it than to have died never knowing it. This is you telling us that not only is God the greatest! but so is faith, hope and love. While you are still around, I will give you your flowers. I hope that all those who get to read this book become blessed. That their hearts break and get healed through its pages. That they are called to action: in not just the poems in the last section but in every single one of them. I hope these words travel throughout Africa and beyond! Congratulations on compiling this beautiful piece of work my friend.

By Madeline Mendy from the GambiaHaving interacted with the author, Nicholas Sitso Kwashi Amessouwoe on many occasions, I had the privilege to read through his thought-provoking, encouraging, and sweet poems. While reading these poems, my attention was caught to the core by the amazing genres displayed in each of them. I was inspired to reflect on life, its originator: "The Uncaused Cause" - God - and the fearful and wonderful creatures He has made. The author's writing journey is proof of the determination, resilience, and selflessness that accompany his talent. May your pen never run short of the ink to keep inspiring generations to dream big!
